Into Utah...Out of Utah and in between

I am 3 days away from the next bicycle adventure. Tim (the buddy I am going to ride with) has arrived home from Thailand and the investment is underway. I have become more favorable to the thought of cycling shorts; even though spandex isn't my thing I hold the hope that wearing them will kick up the miles throughout the desert. This time around I am losing most of my bicycle weight...a complete downsizing of gear. I hold moderation close to my heart but extreme minimization always sounds appealing. Absolute bare minimum. Tim and I have some great opportunities lying ahead and I want to take notice of who Tim is to the world. Together we have been brothers since the 3rd grade, best friends, life inspirations, and personalities which keep each other on even keels. I am always indebted to Tim and Dan Urmann (who sponsored this trip) for their continuous inspiration and contributions to my life. A shout out to Ryan Miller, who is also a true brother in my heart, selfless, open, and totally 100% awesome. Thanks for the beers at Red Butte. The last person who I would like to acknowledge is Katelyn. Since I have been home she has been the best of company. Her enlightenment is always refreshing energy. Much love to all my close SLC friends.
I leave you with pictures from the ride into SLC and the time spend here in my home town.

Man, it really is so awesome that you are keeping up. I hope the Gary Fisher has been keeping up with you, or the other way around. Anyway I am heading to San Fran with Tim. We are night riding to save on water during the intense day heat. I hope you enjoy some of the shots I took, I am now getting used to the options I have on my camera. Thanks again for following.
