” If everything’s under control, you’re going too slow.”
Mario Andretti
Lazy Days was an interesting campground, and filled with huge rigs that cost up to $750,000. We had a small breakfast and visited the camp store, nothing special. We had been toying with the idea of purchasing a GPS system for the Bothan, guess we are tired of getting lost. We found one we really liked, it mounts on the dashboard and is activated by touch or remote and has a voice system. So we ordered one to be sent our campsite at St. Andrews.
We started out on I-75 and decided to take the scenic road Rt 44 over to Rt. 19. We stopped to have some tint put on the windows of the Bothan, and discovered a front headlight was out, so it was necessary to stop for a while and get it repaired. It was raining rather hard and we continued up the panhandle coast to Manatee Springs State Park and arrived just before the office closed at 6PM.
This was a good state park; Florida has a wonderful park system with lots of amenities. We are already talking about reserving spots for next winter.

Hey you 2, when you went from I-75 out Rt 44 to Rt 19 to have the tint put on your windows, you must have only been about 7 miles north of my place! Heck sakes........you should have called me, I'd have come and got you and brought you back for lunch! Maybe next time. Gerry - Gerry
