Well, we're in Joshua Tree. It's absolutley BEAUTIFUL!! I actually cried when we got here. I'm not kidding. My dad would LOVE it! I'm not sure I would do it any justice by trying to discribe it. On the funny side of it, I feel like I live in Bedrock. Like I neighbor Barney Rubble. It's amazing.
We got here late in ther afternoon on the Monday (??What are days??). We found a great place to park the RV at Hidden Valley camp gound. Everywhere you look there are piles of boulders. Oh, its so pretty. We've been going to bed early (like 8pm) and waking up early (6am). We get to enjoy the best parts of the day. The sunrise and sunsets are gorgeous! And its so nice to be enjoying the outdoors. I've bouldered everyday. Yesterday I topped off my first boulder problem. It was kinda easy, but it was my first. Wahoo for me! Adams dad got here last night. We all got up early this morning, had our coffee and ate a good breakfast. Then we headed over to the route Adam wanted to try to climb. I let the boys climb...it looked to hard for me,
plus, I enjoyed taking pictures and bouldering alone.
Today was a hot one. I forgot sunscreen. Ouch. The nights get cool. The stars go on for miles. Its sooooo nice. We don't have any service here. No cell, no internet. We just took Adams dads rent-a-car down to the entrance to make a few phone calls. I'll try to make it down again soon, to keep up to date. ITS AWESOME!!!
pictures coming soon....having trouble uploading....
