Sixten's got a home!

Saturday 18 April

When we took a walk around our “block”, we noticed this; Sixten’s got a home! And a bed as well. We got really warm in our hearts and felt a lot better about leaving him. After all, we are heading north any day now. And Sixten will be staying in lovely Bonson, and enjoy his comfortable bed. Puh! What a relief!

Yesterday we went to Carrefour and bought 40 bottles of “The Best of France”, according to us; bordeaux, champagne, rose, calvados. We put it in towels and sheets and stuffed it in every corner of the trunk… and dreamed nightmares about the car being stolen…

We also had a last chance to reach Plan du Var, the goal of my dream. This time we thought it would be really easy. Close to cheating. We parked the car in La Madeleine and started to walk the path along the river to Plan du Var. Well, the picture below tells you what happened…

Today cleaning the house is on the menu… But first some sun on the terrace!

Good for Sixten!
Good for Sixten - And for all of us! Känns skönt att få höra att han har ett hem (med bildbevis och allt!) även efter ni åkt därifrån! Jag är ju inte kattvan (allergi o osäkerhet) men den här katten blev speciell! Bl.a. när jag såg Sixtens o våran 12-årings nära relation växa fram! Ta det lugnt hem nu! Alltså se vägen - inte bara målet! (Lätt gjort på en hemfärd annars.) Ni hinner vara så mycket hemma som bara den sedan!! / M.

Kloka ord, Må Bra M!
Vi ska ta det lugnt. Och njuta av vägen. Har åkt korta sträckor och övernattat i franska vinbyar i Jura och Alsac distriktet. Men just idag har vi rejsat på autobahn för att komma till Hotel Flora i Bad Grund igen! Samma ställe som på vägen ner. Härligt att se den fantasistska trädgården blomma nu! Känner som hemma i lägenheten. Nu är också första gången vi fått ett fungerande internet på rummet, så nu ska vi nog komma i fatt på bloggen. Har skrivt lite då och då och tagit bilder, men inte kommit åt nätet för att "publicera". Vi hörs! /J
