Arriving Safe

We landed safely at Bangkok & were hit by the heat as we stepped out of the airport. Leaving england with snow and landing here in the hot sun was a shock.

Been sightseeing around the city and walking around a bit, but far too hot, so had our first Tuk Tuk ride,,, excellent,, Just like Kev's old Motorbike apparently. Been to the Grand Palace and took a trip along the main river on the many ferries, quite an experience.

We're heading off later today to get the over night sleeper train (nice) from Bangkok to Chaing Mai,,, already booked on an elephant trip, trek, rafting,,, plus a day's cooking course, so get ready for when we get back and cook you all thai food.

Anyhow better shoot,,, just in the local shopping arcade listening to the guy here play on the Xbox,,!! Get in!... (Kev)

Rafting
Make sure you wear clothes you don't mind getting wet when you go rafting. I took a dunk off the back of one when I went. Was more to do with my serious lack of rafting skills I reckon though.
