Hi everyone
Well after flying to Havana via Paris we arrived in Varadero, northern Cuba having been introduced to the efficiency of the Cuban bus system (reservation?? what reservation?!). We gave up on the bus and eventually arrived in a taxi, 2 hour journey cost us about 30 quid - bargain!
We´ve since been relaxing in the sun in Varadero and we´re going back to Havana to explore properly tomorrow now we´ve recovered from the jet lag and pre travelling nights out!!
This is possibly the slowest internet connection in the world, so will update more with pictures - the sunsets are amazing, when we are technologically enabled!

Gullivers travels!
I wish I was young again and travelling to exciting places! However the old ticker would not be able to take the stress of disappearing bus reservations! Hope you and Tamar are still revelling in all the new sights and sounds and I look forward to seeing those sunsets! Look after your insulin and each other! lots of love Gaynor xx
