Haven't found many Americanphones yet, but my traveling companions and I have managed to meet some anglophones to spend time with on Sudder street (Irishmen, Scotts and Brits). They are all very interesting people. The British woman in conversant in Hindi and studying Bengali, and one of the Irishmen is working on building a shelter for street children in Nepal.

Saw The Dark Knight yesterday. Overall fairly good, but my favourite parts were the Hindi movie trailers and adverts. I know, it is bad to travel to the other side of the world and see a Hollywood film. I promise I will try to see something in Hindi or Bengali and attempt to figure out the plot.

Patients are starting to get to know me at Prem Dam. I have taken over spoonfeeding a very malnourished man from an Italian volunteer who left yesterday. On my walk home to my hotel I realized that I truly love this country and city.

THANKS
Thanks for writing a blog about my town Raiganj. I left Raiganj 2 years ago. My family is still there. I went there once in a 3 months. Today in my office I am reading your blog but could not read it thoroughly as my boss is there. Now Raiganj is developing gradually. Please visit again. Thank you.
