So, the guys haven't really blogged their stories about traveling around Europe. In every city now, the guys have taken time (while the girls were napping) to explore each city. Here are some recaps:

Berlin:
The guys wanted to see more museums, so we went to the Pergamon museum and the Altes museum. The first was amazingly large and was home to the Pergamum ruins and the Ishtar gate (hooray for Art History). There was also a neat exhibit on Babylonian culture and art.
The Altes museum was home to the Bust of Nefertiti and other pieces from the Amarna period (like that one slate of Akhenaten and Nefertiti with their kids. We don't remember the name). So that was kinda cool.

Prague:
Guy time in Prague was pretty exciting. There was the Bohemian jazz festival going on right in the Old Town Square. We saw a quartet playing earlier (with some smooth Alto/Soprano sax sounds and an awesome classical guitarist), a big band (fun!), and at night the John Scofield trio played (which was pretty amazing). All the meanwhile, we headed in and around town.
Nolan and Adi went to the Jewish quarter of Prague, the Josefov. Here,

they visited a couple old synagogues (including the Spanish Synagogue, a beautiful moorish ornate place). They also visited the famous old cemetary which housed hundreds of headstones, some over 500 years old, all tilting and leaning this way and that. This tiltedness is what the Holocaust memorial in Berlin is kinda based on.
The guys met up and went to a Dali exhibition with a lot of his sketches and smaller prints, then we headed to the Museum of Communism, which was kinda touristy but really interesting. It's crazy to think that this happened less than 20 years ago.
We then found some supermarket and grabbed a quick cheap bite (Adi got falafel... the 100000th time this trip) and headed back to the square for some more jazz. Yum!
