Kuala Lumpur - without any umpa - lumpurs in site

Made it to the big smoke having spent several hours appreciating the rest of the Cameron Highlands on the bus journey. Slumming it with the accomodation this time you'll be happy to hear guys, with a shared bathroom! Kuala Lumpur is a fairly large city as you can imagine but is still fairly walkable, even if half of the walking is in the countless air conditioned malls they have..... ohhh we just can't keep away from that air con!
Managed to make it up the Petronas Towers (level 42 for all you 80's throw back kids) for an amazing view of the city. We also saw several mosques, a few more air con malls and watch the indiana jones film (to test the air con obviously!).

Testing more of the street food now that our bellies seem to be showing no signs of any dysentry and had a lovely steam boat meal (boiling water on the go in a pot) and you get to choose your skewers of food choice, (mainly fish) and bubble them in the water for a few minutes until its cooked - all very involved and it was great!

Jon finished today by having a haircut which involved him having his head hoovered to get rid of the cut hair. A bit weird but it worked !

Off on another flight tomorrow to Kuching into deepest darkest Borneo.

ps, Jacky ancle did manage to swell to a pretty interesting size yesterday due to a couple of bites, but I don't think I'll trade her in just yet!

Great view from the Petronas Towers - wasn't that where they filmed Entrapment? James Oh and my advice to Jacky is to give jon a gumshield to stop him biting your ankles through the night.
