Tellytubby land or what?
The rolling tea plantations The journey to the Cameron Highlands was very understated in our lonely planet guide, it was breathtaking ! Had a couple of days in a cooler climate but also less mozzies so thats better.
This is a tea producing region and as the pictures show it looks like telly tubby land. Amazing scenery and we drove to the highest mountain in the area to get a fantastic view. We had a guide who took us into the Mossy forest, which was very mossy. Within a short walk (About 100 yards !) he showed us about 10 useful plants and trees for healing, curing and surviving ! So many smells that you would recognise for products back in the UK are straight from the trees out here !
Off to the big smoke (Kuala Lumpur) for some night life and probably more cake.
