It’s been a couple of days since I’ve written. It’s currently Wednesday and I have completed my third day of medical school. Things are going alright so far… let’s see if I can remember my classes: Gross Anatomy, Histology, Biochemistry, Doctor Patient Society, Physiology… I think that’s it but I can’t remember. Today’s classes were awful - we had biochemistry where the professor thought it was a good idea for us to teach each other without any lecture, which really just annoyed everyone. Then we had two anatomy lectures that were raced through and incredibly confusing. Now I am sitting in a session about studying which is a complete waste of my time. Yeah, school sucks.

This past Saturday I went on an island tour that lasted the entire day. We left around 8am and went to Trafalgar Falls, the Natural Pool, and Scott’s Head. Pictures were posted of all of the above. Trafalgar Falls was the large waterfall area, very nice, about a 10 minute hike in. The Natural Pool was okay… it was pretty much like a small lake that we hiked around. Not all too interesting, but the scenery became very nice as we hiked around the pool. Scott’s Head was great - this is where the Caribbean ocean meets the Atlantic ocean. The Atlantic side is very choppy and the Caribbean side is pretty docile. I bought a coconut there for $2 that a local “busted” and then we drank the coconut milk out of it. I bet that sounds amazing, but to be honest, the coconut milk wasn’t all that coconutty. It tasted mostly like water inside a coconut. It was a cool experience none-the-less. The water was very nice, slightly cool but refreshing in the hot day. Some people said they saw a sea snake on the Caribbean side when they were snorkeling. I stuck my head under the water and saw some small black fish and then decided that was enough. There is beer here called Kubuli - it’s the island beer. I don’t recommend it. Sorry that was just an aside.

Other than that, I’ve been busy in school, as you can imagine. I’m already exhausted and I feel like I’ve taken on a very pessimistic tone. Rest assured that classes really just do suck.

On another note, my parents are arriving today. I’m sure we/they will be having some exciting adventures, so stay tuned!!

P.S. Sorry it's so short. I'm exhausted.
