Philippines is one of the most beautiful country in Asia. People are so nice, the view is great and breath taking. Eastern Samar is the province where I came from. Lot's of coconut farms, rice fields and fishing in the area. Life is very simple, yet people are up to date. The dance called " Kuratsa" is very popular in this area. From politicians, socialites and normal or ordinary people dances "Kuratsa". People loves to chat, go swimming and stay out. I love this place! And I miss this place too. Giporlos is the town where I grew up, a town that I will always love and be greatful of. One day I will come back with a big smile and dance with my Kababayans.

One of the Filipino sweets or desert that is very popular. Made of young coconut, condense milk, kaong, fruit cocktail and nata de coco.

Fishing Boats
Fishing is one of the main source of income in the Philippines. Some uses "Bangka" and "Motorboats". It can be big or small.

Lechon
One main dish that is very popular in the Philippines. It is always present in every occasion. It is a roasted pig. It's yummy specially if it's hot and a little bit crispy.

Coral Beach
One of the beaches we had back home. You don't need to pay anything for this beautiful get away. You just need a boat and off you go!

Nipa Hut
A Nipa Hut is a National Home for the Philippines. It can big or small. It is very nice to live there specially on summer time. Made of bamboo and dried grass.

Sun starts to set in the afternoon and this is how it looks like from the beach.

Kapinis
It is a place where a rock stands in the middle of the ocean. Years ago when there was no road yet, we take big passenger boats to go to Tacloban where school is, we pass on this place and is very wavy, many believes there's a mermaid in this place.

The Rock
This was taken from Marabut, this place has lots of stalactites. A Philippine movie called " Spirit Warriors" of the Streetboys has been filmed in this place.

San Juanico Bridge
This bridge is one of the longest bridge in the Philippines. This is found in the Province of Leyte. The bridge connects Samar and Leyte.

This was taken in San Juanico Bridge. We were heading to Tacloban City, Leyte.

Gaisano is one of the mall in Tacloban City. What you see is downtown Tacloban.
