My studio. My desk is actually to the far left out of sight.
So, I haven't posted much of late because I've mainly just been doing classes for the last two weeks. I haven't made any big trips since school has started but we did stop at the largest shopping mall in Europe. Supposedly there is an imax and a roller coaster but I didn't see the coaster. I really only went for some groceries that our local grocer doesn't really have, and to get some chinese for lunch. Man how I've missed mall chinese. Pretty much everything I've posted/visited so far has been within like 5 miles of where we live. Like the huge shopping mall probably being less than 3 miles from me and we only just found out about it and went yesterday. It's been sleeting some for the past week, but today I woke up to a winter wonderland. I would say there was a good 3-5 inches, although I'm not very good at guessing on that. Although it was actually somewhat warm on my walk to school, some sleet had started to fall again by the time I headed home. Anyway, it's absolutely beautiful out. Jacob and I went for a walk to get some sweets around 8pm too,

and when the wind wasn't attacking, it was quite lovely. Also, I thought it was about time to post some pictures of my school. The building was built in the early 1850s as a military hospital as has been a part of I.T.U. for the past 60 years. It has very high ceilings, large staircases and an amazing courtyard. I'm going to be starting my first watercolor of the semester soon because it's due in about a week. Maybe I'll figure out a way to scan or take a picture of it to post on here soon.

Neato!
I just read all of your travel posts - it looks like you're having a pretty good time! I agree with Sam that Turkey is way prettier than I thought it was. You should post some Turkish vocabulary, so we can all benefit from your experiences. :) Also, you should just go ahead and come back now. We miss you too much. Turkey is selfish for keeping all the Haley to itself.
