Dancing fun
Free beer tab, what!? Mustangs: Glad Loren was there to join me in the dance off! And you Josh - go boyo!Following my time working for Don Green, I drove Craig and Loren back to Perth with me, where they were to buy a van and I was to arrange the next leg of my journey...
In dire straits for a while, feeling pretty lost having been removed from the 'safety bubble' of Kal. I stayed in a hostel with the Irish girls we had met on during passing thru Kal a month or so earlier. Lacking girly company in Kalgoorlie, I showed the girls the sights and skimpy bars of Kal! In return, they looked after me and took me clubbing in Perth, as it was their last week before heading North.
What with Craig and Loren hanging with us in Perth, and Josh bumming around for a few days, it felt like a big chunk of my Kalgoorlie life had come with me! Then, when I saw Dave jogging past our hostel, I felt fate had fallen upon me once more! Just when you feel all alone... you're surrounded by friends!
Anyway, during one of 4? nights of parting (cheap beer is a nightmare when there are Irish around!), I chatted to a guy called Joe, from
Go Chris!
Well timed shot! the hostel. Having initially insulted him by accusing him of being from Essex, we got chatting. The next day, Joe agreed to save me from travelling alone and join me on my adventure, to do Volunteer work in Monkey Mia.
