Hi - we had a Foam Party at the beach. The Mums got scared that we might go under the foam cos it went over our heads. Dad and I went in. I was the only Edge child to go in. The foam was quite deep and we jumped from foam free island into the foam. My cousin slipped over and all the foam rushed around him. It was great fun. I dont know why the others didnt come in.

At the Zoo we fed the kangaroos and patted the koalas and we saw a massive snake called Millie who was about the size of a car. We watched a croc show at the Crocoseum where a man stood in a river with Crocs. We got free Kanagaroo food and we fed the kangaroos again. When we put our hands out the kangaroos had front teeth and they scraped at your hands but it tickled and didnt hurt. We saw a Tazmanian Devil but the one on TV looks nothing like the real animal.

On New Years Eve we had sparklers and there were some flower ones that lasted for ages. We had some glow in the dark necklaces
stroking a Koalastroking a Koalastroking a Koala

My Dad had to pick me up
and bracelets. We played a game by tying the bracelets into a chain and chasing the others to take their bracelets. I stayed up to midnight. It is the first time that I have stayed up this late.

Weather!!
The fun goes on! Shame about the weather - bound to improve when you return. Arent koalas just the cutest thing you've ever seen. We saw a wild one at Noosa - it made my day. Weather here has been freezing - some snow but not here and today is wet and windy (no change there then!). Looking forward to hearing about your trip to NZ. Judith (aunty, sister in law and sister)
