And still the tree of us are travelling together. Anna, me and Marian.
So what did we do since last time? Ow yeah: we went from Pahia (after the karaoke-night)
towards Allen our grandpa-host. The first few seconds we were doubting if we would
follow him with our car (he came with his car, because we wouldn't find it on our own.. o no, we wouldn't).
At first he seemed like a little monster, walking bare foot.. but, we tried to trust him...
After 40 min of really bad road in the middle of NOWHERE, we even got much more doubts.. Me and marian
had to move to his car because we were scraping the ground with our fully loaded car.
So we arrived to his wooden house (read: shed), where we got one room, for the three of us (2 beds).
Also Peter (an american guy) was staying there, so we had a proof that somebody survived this..

We got used to our surroundings (wonderful great nature, with only hills and no neighbours (it seemed)).
And so the first day we were asking if we could do some work..(because that's the concept of WWoofing,
work for accomodation and food), but we didn't any reaction except from: "yeah, there is some work to be done..
little things though." So evertyime we got this reaction, and in the end we just stopped asking. We had coffee, tea,
a wood fire, a bush walk now and then, tea, coffee, card games, drawing, reading, tea,... This for three days,
wich was nice.. very nice. Aspecially if you now you don't have to pay, and you just enjoy your time.
To kill time, Anna cut my hair (see pictures). And also of the next door (3 km further farmer)! He had to go to a wedding 😉
We got invited by a neighbour who seemed to live two rivers (bridgeless) further to the right (a whole adventure only to arrive
there, with our package of whine and four wine glasses). The house was full of cats, dogs, and flies and shit, and the man who
invited us had a purple had (sorry no pictures), but still we enjoyed the evening and started to like grandpa Allen more and more,
who now was turning into a friendly shreklike-little-monster..
Before we got to lazy, we decided to move on, and got a big hug from Allen before we left.

We drove further north to Henderson bay. There we stayed in a bacpackers close to a fully deserted beach. The most beautiful
beach that I had seen uptill then. Because I didn't know yet, that it was actually nothing in comparison to what would come the
next day...So on saturday we decided to go to the most northern point of New-Zealand, Cape Reinga, where Tasman Sea and
South Pacific Sea meet each other. When we arrived there, again after driving for at least one hour without meeting anybody,
I thought I had seen the most beautiful place in New Zealand.. but again I was WRONG!
We started, a five hour during walk, and I just can't discribe it with words.. it was amazing. First the greenest green you can expect,
then the desert.. then a beach surrounded by nothing and nobody, then desert (suffering from a little bit of dehydration yet), a dark forest,
again desert.. then green, green bush, then fields with bulls we had to cross.. and then FINALLY the car (almost dead). It was just
great, so great that in the end we were not able to speak anymore. On the way back, we were just strong enough to eat one
chicken burger, and in the hostel we fell immediatly asleep.. It was just PERFECT.
