View of Melbourne from southbank
Not going to write much about Melbourne and Victoria. We lived there for 3 months and loved it! We worked 'a little', shopped, sat in cafes, enjoyed the bar culture 'a lot'. Melbourne has a good vibe and great lifestyle. We quickly made friends and settled in nicely and were lucky to have visits from my Brother and Natalie, Amanda and Brian, and Christian all from Sydney and one visit all the way from back home (Nice one Lee!). Whilst in Victoria we went on various roadtrips, the photos and their captions show what we got up to. Sorry there is not more but we have no time. After a long weekend in Sydney saying goodbye to family and friends we have embarked on the home straight. First stop is Hong Kong. For those who do not already know, we will be home in Jan. We will hopefully be able to do some blogs on the way home, if not, you will probably see us in person before we get around to doing them. We are determined to do them though, kind of a 'we started so we will finish' scenario.

With our friends from 'Back of Chapel' Hostel. Famous for its Superbike GP and thousands of little penguins that come out at night. No photos of them unfort .... we were not allowed.

Melbourne has a lot of Graffiti, but most is in the right places and adds to its charm.

A stunning area. We loved it there. With walks/climbs up to views like this. Roos and other wildlife everywhere. We can lay claim to actually hearing a Roo fart, outside our tent (which was surrounded by them) in the middle of the night!. Just thought I would tell you that ;-)

You must have done it all by now.
I dont think you have left anything out at all. This really is the best way to travel, even seeing a Koala in the wild, we weren't as lucky!
