Yes folks... i've been here for ages and i've told anyone what i'm upto! Sorry about that, especailly as i know how much you all miss my side-splitting anecdotes, tales of dynanism and philosopical musings on international culture, (like your own personal Michael Palin eh?) but to be honest, i can never be arsed.

But no fear, i'll try to summarise the past month of my life in the remaining 15minutes of free computer i have left here at Brisbane library.

Ok, so i spoke to you when i got to darwin (city of the past!), which i actually really liked! Everyone was so friendly, and though we did sweet FA for much of time, we bloody well enjoyed doing it! From there we went to both Kakadu and Litchfield national parks, both of which are beautiful places, views, landascapes, waterfalls, animals and that... you know the type. We swam in beautiful places where the likelihood of croc attacks was only minimal (best your gonna get people!), camped out in the bush, played the didgeroo (i was brilliant. if you thought for a second that was true then you really don't know me as well as we both thought), and generally had a good laugh. We also had a big bbq for dinner with kangeroo steak and buffalo sausages! So excited was i at having sausages after 4 long months in asia, i went a bit crazy, ate a few to many, and felt a bit sick. But still it was nothing that my box of 'goon', that i had stashed in the 'eskie' couldn't cure! I'm not even gonna expalin what that means... lets find out which one of you knows eh? The Litchfield trip was marred slightly by a WACKY tour guide, who insisted on waking us up everytime we fell asleep, and then regailed us with stories that could be construed, by anyone not from the 70's, as a little rascist. This was the first of many times we noticed this... Seriously people, they use the word coon! God i can't even believe i wrote that.... lets move on.

Despite the outrageous expenses involved, we decided that no trip to oz would be complete without a trip to Ayers Rock, SORRY, Uluru. Despite our current financial dire straits, it was worth it! Though we spent too long hanging around in Alice Springs, which is, how do you say in English... a fucking dump (Scuse language mum, but trust me, its the correct usage). On our first night there, as we searched for an establishment which might show the football, we were warned several times not to walk about at night. Sceptical as we were at first, i decided to listen when this massive Australian bloke told us he wouldn't go out on his own after dark, for fear of marauding gangs of youths... what they would do to us, no one clarified, but it didn't seem worth it. To be honest, all the drunk aboringines hanging around was pretty off-putting anyway. So yeh, cabs home for us! We did find the football, and me and michelle were chatted up by some twelve year old and his fat 50 year mate respectively as soon as we sat down. Lovely stuff. Almost as good as the blokes who asked us out to Bojangles after striking up a conversation at the cash desk of K Mart. We must just look like class. But yes, 3 day trip to the Uluru area, calling in at Kings Canyon, Kata Tjuta and Uluru - which i'm sure you've all heard of. yes people, they are all slightly different types of big red rocks, but seriously, it was great! Well worth seeing! For this trip though, we had to camp out in bush proper. None of your fancy camping facilities, like tents or toilets... yes, we slept in swags (big industrial sleeping bag things) and wee'd in bushes. The latter closely followed by the walk of shame as return to the camp to throw your loo roll on the camp fire. Needless to say, we held it where possible!

Oh, you know what, my time is almost up.... thats pretty much it though -
