Elizabeth's Birthday

We had an exciting day on Wednesday, because it was Elizabeth’s 23rd birthday! MN & Elizabeth went to their office jobs, while Julia Lynds & I decided to join a gym we had found the day before. Its in the next beach over called Freshwater Beach and the gym is amazing! The run there is beautiful as well; gosh, I thought Manly would for sure be the prettiest beach, but this one was definitely on par. Cliffs surround the beach with amazing houses populating them! It was my first long run in a while, and let’s just say I would not have made it had the scenery not come out of a movie haha. Anyway, we got there and began our workout….nothing too exciting to report there except the best part of the gym is definitely the hot tub on the top level that overlooks the ocean!! Definitely my favorite part!
After our working out, we decided to go to the grocery store and find a suitable cake for Elizabeth’s birthday! Of course we went with the double chocolate Betty Crocker…feeling like housewives the rest of the afternoon, we ended up cooking and cleaning until the birthday girl made it home!
The plans for the night started with a yummy dinner. We hadn’t eaten at this place that is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in Manly called The BlueWater Café. It was delicious!! Each of us definitely one of the top meals of the trip! Next stop was The Steyne, our favorite place, for some birthday celebration. One of Elizabeth’s friends from work met up with us with her friend as well. They’re both from Texas, so it was great to hang out with some fellow Southerners. We hung out with them for a while, then all headed to one last place before calling it a night. We had to keep it pretty tame because the breadwinners of our little family, MN & Elizabeth, haha had to be up early for work.

I didnt know I was being blog tracked. I will leave messages on the blogger from now on. I here there are some funny pictures floating around. I think the american bloggers need to get some visuals from the aussie bloggers on what is going on in the land down under.
