Leaving the Port of Dover for Calais, France in good weather!
The Trip Starts!

PARIS - not a better place to start with! - the fantastique French food, the happy Marais, the busy G.Pompidou Centre (not so busy this time), the convenience of Cyril's flat, the beautiful language...

It was great to be in the streets of Paris again, catch up with Cyril and meet his colleagues. I enjoyed every minute of it, even panicking to find an empty space to park the velo in town and having trouble to find maps to plan my next steps. However I wanted so much to leave the busy capital and loose myself (not literary though it keeps happening so often) in the countryside roads, landscapes and les petit villages... that's the next chapter! Plus bouldering! 😊

The white cliffs of Southern England are an image to treasure for travellers both leaving and coming back to Britain.

Allways exciting to come back to this spot and everything that surounds it, the cafes, shops, busy roads, the smell of food and peoples' strong perfumes... The Velib, a big hit in the capital.

Food in France is soooo delicious! Even the cheap supermarket brand tastes superior, not to mention the bread, hmm the French bread!

This huge parede took me by surprise as I walked from Cyril's flat to Le Marrais.
