Well, after reading Squirrel's blog I guess the trip is about over. Who knew!
Here are some quotes from the trip:
“It’s warmer here because we’re closer to the sun.” Dennis, our campground neighbor in Yellowstone explaining why it was so hot. He also said, “I can’t go to bed until I count 10 stars,” then proceeded to count them.
When asked about the weather forecast, the young girl working at the forest service office in Sheridan, WY looked out the window and said, “Yeah, it might rain later.”
Our camp host at Indian Trees campground in Montana told us we were the first people from Tennessee he’d had all year. Really? And it's so conveniently located in Nowhere.
“Just Mother Nature moving the furniture.” Mrs. Bernard, our camp host at Mt. Rainier talking about the flood last November that wiped out roads and a campground.
An older man eating dinner near us at Lake Quinault Lodge said, “I’m going to stay up ‘till 9:30.” Our goal when camping is 10. Does that make us old?
We need more guesses about the person who knew somebody’s mother. Sorry Lori, it wasn’t MA. Otherwise the fab prize will go unclaimed. No purchase necessary, void where prohibited by law.

ah, the memories
We had a very nice stay at Lake Quinault Lodge...isn't that the one with a small rain forest and a sweet hike right across the dirt road? Look up Lake Crescent Lodge (I think on your way back from Olympic, but check in case I'm wrong)...really quaint lodge experience and a very gorgeous lake! I could spend days there. On the previous bonus question, I say hops or cranberries. Sorry I don't know the whereabouts of the various mothers in question.
