Plit 1
How Swiss is Croatia? Ask yourself! Pag was just a detour on the way to the Plitvice National Park which is far lusher and greener than anything else we had seen so far of Croatia.
To get there we are now travelling inland on Croatia's lovely new motorways.
i especially like the tunnels, one was 6kms long!! I have taken a video of this so those at home can also enjoy my motorway obsession.
You lucky, lucky people!!
The National Park is a bunch of lakes at different levels with a lot of waterfalls in between.
Quite nice esppecially as you can catch a rubber tyred train up to the top and only have to walk down.
I thought it was no nicer really than NZ, but it was more fun watching the locals and the germans who got all excited about stupid things and took photos of sparrows and leaves and anything really.
We stayed the night here, two kms from the front entrance in a small village that looked like Switzerland..
But seriously, how would I know? I've never been to Switzerland??? Ok, It looked like how I think Switzerland should look.

Good bye Croatia, Hello Rellies
Hiyas, I suppose you'll be on your way to Bristol by now - At least you are now very qualified to say Croatia? I know it well, should anyone ask. Hope you picked up a souvenir or two , a map or a bus ticket at least. Enjoy this new chapter, and keep us posted!!
