Day 11-
Today was a fairly boring day. Most of the day we drove from Grand Tetons to Salt Lake City where we stayed for the night. After we arrived at the campground. We went searching for a Target, a movie theater, and a place to eat. We found a movie theater and a went in to get some tickets for the new Harry Potter movie. After getting the tickets to the 8:50 showing of Harry Potter we went to Red Robin. After eating we stoped at Target and then headed back to the movie theater. We got back at our campground around 11:30. --Ben

We learned that a 10% grade is really a lot more severe then 6% grade - atleast to an RV (the Teton pass from Wyoming to Idaho). Idaho was a lot like Wyoming in our opinion -- a lot of very impressive mountains surrounded by miles of very arid praire - some irrigated into potato fields - but more prominently wheat fields. -- Chris

Day 12-
This morning we got up and did our laundry. Mom said she did 8 loads! Doing the laundry took all morning to finish, so we didn't even leave the campground until about 12:15. We left the campgound to go to where the 2002 winter olympics were held. Utah's Olympic Park is about 45 minutes from Salt Lake City in the Mountains near Park city. Once we arrived we went into the visitor center and looked at the museum for about 20 minutes. We then went on a guided tour of the park. Our guide showed us where some of the Olympic sports where held in 2002 including bobsleding, the luge, the skeleton, and alpine ski jumping. After the tour we went on a few rides. Me and Alea went on a zip line that went somewhere around 30 miles per hour. Both Alea and I liked the zip line. Following the zip line we weent on a tobogan ride which went pretty fast. For me this was way way way way way way way way way way way way way better than the zip line, but Alea really really really really really really really really really hated it (figures!). After we finished the rides we headed home. Actually we are heading home because I am typing this in RoVer right now. Once we get back to the campground we plan on going swimming and then heading to this awsome restaurant called The Melting Pot (For those of you who have never heard of The Melting Pot, it is a fondue restaurant). Hopefully we will get to bed soon after then. --Ben

Actually we enjoyed the Melting Pot a lot. But then mean old mom and dad mad the kids walk about 8 blocks down to and around Temple Square in salt Lake City. It is interesting here seeing the influence of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints (the Mormons) everywhere. -- Dad

Fun Fact of the Day: As we were on our tour, our tourguide told us that about 5yrs ago they had a young dear jump into the bobsled run and then the dear slid down the bobsled run A at the , he got stranded out on the ice so the employees got him off the ice. He then wondered off. But about 20 minutes later what else did they see but the same dear going down the run again. (this is a true story, they even have a pictrue of it!)

Catching Up
It's Friday night and we're catching up on your trip. Did you ever think you'd have an opinion about switchbacks and how much of a grade you are driving? We didn't go to the Tetons so I really enjoyed your picts there. We are envious that all of you saw a bear! Also, Ben and Alea -- most excellent drawings!! I can't wait to read what you think of Bryce.
