First Day in London

Hello,

Today has been a fantastic Sunday in London. Happy Father's Day Dad if you read this. It was fun to talk to you today!

Jon and I walked out of our hotel this morning and took a stroll along the Thames. It was a beautiful morning and the tide was low. There is an interior design center right near our hotel with some beautiful decorations and we walked through there as well. Then, Jon Camille and I took a cab to Fortnum and Mason for lunch. Jon and Camille had Welsh Rarebit and I had a salad. We hit Boots for some bits and bobs. Then we went to Harrod's for some shopping. We came back to the hotel and had afternoon tea. We just got back from Lots Road Pub just down the street from our hotel. It was great! We all had bangers and mash and all struggled to keep our eyes open.

It is 9 pm and Jon and I are doing everything in our power to stay awake untill at least 10pm. Jet lag is so much fun.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow. We start our week of non-stop functions. We are going to the Order of the Garter Ceremony at Windsor Castle for the Ceremony, lunch and tea. It is a once in a life time experience. Until then. Good Night.
