Got in to San Francisco today, plane was late-ish, and ride was turbulent, but it's a lovely city!

Walked along Embarcadero to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf. It's a windy city, and it was overcast until around 2PM. Then the sun came out and my forehead got a burn. 😊 Oops, after all that nagging I do at poor Aron! Sorry, hon!

Oh - and I'd only been here for 10 minutes and they had a "test of the emergency outside warning system". The alarms were going outside, and I guess this is an earthquake/tsunami warning practice. Nice that they're prepped, but way to scare the tourists! I wonder where the alarm noises broadcast from...

Fisherman's Wharf was neat, but I liked Pier 39 better: good view of Alcatraz and the sea lions and I got some sun bathing in. 😊

Not too much to report, just thought I'd post to say all is A-OK, and post a few pictures as well.

Talk to you soon!

If only I was another two feet to the left, I'd have a view of Bay Street Bridge. That's the ferry building across the street.

Taken from Pier 39. There are no criminals there anymore - not since 1969 or something. National Park now.
