Taxi Boat

The title is a reference to the people who sit around in the middle of the town with taxi written on a piece of card. Then they will approach you with such optimisim and say simply 'taxi boat?'. They amuse me.


Again, not supprisingly hungover. Hangovers aren't fun, I used to take such glee that I didn't get them in cold ol' England. This fricking heat get me, plus having drinks in buckets rather than glasses doesn't help I'd guess.


Missed my ticket out of here today. That is now two tickets I have missed; one was on purpose though. My taxi was at 12:00 woke up about 8 or 9 though ah got ages will sleep a little longer. Didn't think I fell asleep. Looked at the time 12:20. Managed to scab a lift in a van to town, the owner gave me a scooter ride to to try and get the boat but too late. Now forced to get the night boat. Which leaves here at 20:30 and arrives at 11:00 it take 4 hours longer than the others and is more expensive but it will do. As a bonus I don't think I am going to have to pay for the boat I missed, but I am not sure. Don't really want to pay 3x pus to leave this island.


The full moon party was pretty fun. Pretty comercial though. Wouldn't particularly say it's a must do in Thailand.


Now the plan is to go to Phuket to fly out on Thursday. Two weeks untill I meet up with Gav, I've spent a month travelling so far. Wow, really does not seem that long.

Will post plans of what I am doing in Malaysia when I figure it out. Will research it now as not sure if I am capable of moving right at the moment.
