The day started at about 6 am with the sunrise. We then went for a walk and oriented ourselves with the area. There are some neat little stores and food stands around here. We bought corn tortillas hot off the grill just down the street from the RV park! They are sooooo good! So tonite we made quesadillas. So good! We also spent a few hours on the beach but it was quite windy. We went for a little ride around the area and got some fantastic shots of the beach area. There are not a lot of people here at this time but most of the RVers here are here for the season. We have loved all of the last three places we have been and would love to own a piece of property here! This little town in particular is very calm and quiet. There are several very nice hotels here but not the huge high rises but rather more of the colonial style of Mexico. There are some fabulous homes here as well right on the beach. Today we watched a lot of windsurfers take on the wind and the waves! Real estate is hot here. And now

According to the "myth", the city is named after the barrels of gold that are buried somewhere around here!
seems to be a good time to buy but .....it is pricey!
So we will continue to just tour around the area and enjoy! One of these days we will head down to the Cabos and check them out.

So here are a few pictures of the park and the area. I am certain you will agree that it is gorgeous!

Double WOW!
Hey....I agree with Michael. GET IN SOME PICTURES, KATH! It looks really beautiful, you two. How are you going to want to come home????? Kath, the shells you collected are really cool, especially those ones that look like trees! Are those sand dollars, too? The starfish looked huge. I am afraid you are going to stay there and I will never see you again!!!!!! Love, Sue
