Licking the toes of Constantine!!Licking the toes of Constantine!!Licking the toes of Constantine!!

This is Jules and I pretending to lick the toes of one of many of these huge foot statues we saw in Trier!!
Here is the text that you have already read but here are some pics to go along with it. I will post Heidelberg and Switzerland pics soon!!! Love an miss you guys!!

Trier was about a 3 hour train ride from Neubruke. We got there at about 11:30 on Saturday morning. The first thing we saw was a huge foot and we continued to see these feet throughout Trier. I think it was supposed to be a replica of a foot that used to be on a huge statue of Constantine a long time ago. Jules and I licked the toes of one of them. We also saw a site called the Porta Nigra. Trier used to be a completely walled city and the Porta Nigra was the main gate into it. Then we went to an amazing church called Dom (Cathedral) I couldn't find an other name for it. There was a dome that was very extravagant well I guess everything in the church was. We then walked to another church, St. Matthia, that was about a 20 min walk and wasn't anything too special. It was being renivated as well so it was a little disappointing. Then

we went to Kaisertherman which was an old roman bath. We didn't go inside but took pictures from outside. After the old roman bath we went to an ampitheater. It was pretty amazing. We could go underneath of it as well. Heather, Jules and I almost had a play fight in the middle but thought we might get some stares.
