Made Up With This One....
Waking Up on teh second day of our Khoa Sok weekend I didnt hold to much hope after the previous day.Wed read there was this Lake....huuuuuuge lake which i stupidly cant remember the name off out amoungst some amazing scenery but id alson hear there was amazing waterfalls yesterda and a midget find it hard bathing in them.
We got the boat down at the lake, yeah it looked nice but nothing awe inspiring,The further we headed out though the more awestruck I was.HUGE cliffs coming out the water shading the lake.Becasue we were there early too the weather was a bit cloudy, givin a really moody atmosphere making it all the better. We could harld believe it.Ive seen alot of beautiful things on My travels but this was right up there. After an hour or so we pulle dup at these 5 or so raft house in the middle of the lake for lunch.WHAT A VIEW.surely the greatest resteraunt view in the world!! The tops of the cliffs hitting the clouds. This beautiful lake infront.Me and matt had a few stupid dives ,flips into the lake which is a must at anytime.SOooo good to go for a saltless swim too,the water again abslotuly perfect.I didnt expect to see anything like this till I go to Millford Souds In NZ.After a dip we headed out on a lightweight canoe.Which we couldnt stop spinning around every 5 mins ( ihad NO Idea what I was doing) but me and Amanda got further than Matt and emma, even twisting through a few rocks and back.BUt thats cos im generally better at everything than everyone.Eventually It was time to leave this amazing place and I was quite gutted..but happy this trip was completely worth it after the days trekking through the jungle for nothing the day before. We were all pretty quiet on the way back, having a moment as it where.Emmas recently told me she found out there actually a village buried UNDER the lake where we where. The filled it up years ago.The trees we hit in the boat where Orchid trees from underneath!! Kind of adds to the Mysteriousness of this breathtaking place.
