Hey folks,
Today I am leavind Byron Bay. A very popular place among ozzys and Backpackers to spend their holidays. Although the prices for the hostels are not very BP like. It ranges from 26$ up to 36$ per night, per person in a dorm! And they are always booked during peak season.
So what can you do here. You can go shopping haha... I couldnt pass the Quicksilver store without going in. And some of you might know, that even my car is Quicksilver edition... so you can guess how hard it is to just walk by.
Anyhow. The landscape is beatiful. I walked to most eastern point to watch the sunset... I know that you're supposed to watch sunrise in the east, but thats just way to early. 5.30 and a 1 hour walk before that... uh / sorry I was just to lasy.
Speaking of lasyness - I also went to Nimbin. I won't go into details. Im sure everyone will find sth in Google. But lets just say some drugs a dealed libreraly on the street. It looks like a Hippie community and most people are extremely relaxed... LOL... haha

The 'old' lighthouse
'old' means built in 1901 :-)view, I would say its interesting to see, but Im glad my mind is not as foggy as some of their's.
On the way back we passed a nice waterhole called Whin Whin (Aboriginal for Tree Tree - because there were a couple trees) ... seem obious in a forest ... ROFL :-)
Some guys enjoyed jumping of a 6-8m cliff, but our guide told just last week his friend had broken his leg. Well well australia is dagerous. But I think the most hazardous condition for travellers is the lack of braincells.

Oh by the way its Australia day on Friday the 26th. I'm looking forward to see a firework and drunken ozzys.
