Who knows snow can be so much fun!
Hey, what's up all.
This time I’m with Jon, who is going to a ski trip in Beaver Creek, Colorado. As you’ve heard, Denver was hit by three major snow storms in the past three weeks, leaving Denver (and most of Colorado) with a thick blanket of this white and cold stuff called snow. Frankly, growing up in Iowa then moved to the Deep South, I’m ready for the snow moment like this for a while. So without a hesitation, I pack my bag and head out to the Rockies to have some fun.

We fly directly from ATL to Vail airport, which is about ten miles from Beaver Creek, Colorado, where we have a ski cabin reserved for us. On the second day, we go out for a skiing event, where we manage to check out many cool winter scenery and famous sites, including the ‘Birds of Prey’ - Men’s downhill course for 1999 World Skiing Championship. Brrr it is cold, I believe it is -2F out here, but snow is pearly white, sky is deep blue, and I am cardinal red - nothing beats the scenery and experience we have.

Unfortunately I have too much fun that

day, and I’m not properly prepared for flying around in over 10,000 ft elevation. So I decide to hang around the cabin and take it easy during the rest of the trip. Besides, those big ski poles are too big for me.

Till next time

Hmm is it a coincidence that the canopy is painted cardinal red? Do I look fierce in this picture?

I'm a little bit discourage with the title, but Jon here is assuring my safety.
