Welcome to Jo'burg About 3 hours from landing in Jo'burg I decided I better psych myself out for being in SA for 4.5 months...but Luke, the Korean businessman next to me kept chatting.
Yesterday (day 2) it hit me....you should see the size of the birds here! It's enough to make anyone realize they're not in America anymore. Plus it's hotter than hell.
It's amazing here! Much different than what I remember from 8 years ago. There's tons of development going on throughout the city in preparation for the 2010 world cup (go Bafana Bafana!!).
But the best thing here is hanging out and grooving around town with the family!
So far so good!!
Til Next Time

Hey - glad to hear everything's going well so far in Jo'Burg. I know what you mean about the birds...I always thought that the pelicans by the beach should check out the rest of the city to give us something interesting to look at. I guess they feel different about it. Anyhowsen...keep having fun and I look forward to your next blog. P.S. I like your writing style. Very good!
