Believe it or not, Mike actually rolled out of bed shortly after the alarm went off at 5.30 am! Anyone who knows Mike, knows that he is NOT a morning person. I got up and Mike announced that we was sleeping til 6. I figured as much but as I was getting ready in the other bathroom, I heard the shower go on in the other bathroom! WOW!!!!! I was ready in my usual 15 mins and got the rest of the stuff into the truck and RV. Kitties settled in quite nicely after about 15 mins of crying! Jazzy is much better than Misty who is the big MOUNTAIN kitty!! WE were on the road by 7 pm. It took us 2 days to get this MOFO packed and I am sure we brought too much stuff in spite of the fact that we unloaded a lot of stuff from it before repacking it!!

I am almost in heaven with my new aircard which allows me to be online as we travel!!! Now I am not driving Mike so crazy with my "Are we there yet?" or "How much longer?"

Have made 2 gas stops.....ouch......gas in Indiana is ridiculous!!! But I love the Petro Travel Stations!! They always have neat crap and really weird people who hang out in the truck stops!!!! Lots of fatty fast food and junk. I found all these magnets of ALL the states, which was a real treat for me.......Yeah, I know, doesn't take much. So I bought all the ones in which we have traveled w/ the RV and will make a big map! I hope to one day to be able to say that I have been in every state of the US w/ the RV.

We made it to Terre Haute, Indiana around 4.45 after putting in around 470 miles today. WE are at a nice KOA here, got the RV opened, de-winterized! Needless to say, I forgot to check the fittings on the pipes in the bathroom vanity, and as I was flushing the pipes, noticed a gush of water coming from under the sink......We always forget to check those on our first outing. No damage done. The other problem was the cable b/c I can never remember the wiring configuration for cable because most of the time we use the satellite!!! Mike HAD to watch the Texas/Iowa game. Now he is happy.

I still need to clean after the winter--dust, dead flies (ewwwww!!) but I AM sleeping in my own bed on my own clean sheets!!! This has become my second home!! I really could live in it year around and Mike is almost to my way of thinking too!

So far, so good. I will keep you up to date on things and you can also send us messages here. I will post pics when I get some!! But I love email too! We miss you!!! Send news, views, gossip, drama....etc.....
