Hi guys,

We have a bit of catching up to do...... Jaipur was amazing, we saw the Amber Fort (where the Maharaja or king lived with his 12 wives (lucky bugger), went to the City Palace, and Janter Manter which is full of huge sundials. On the way home we had a ride on a camel (as you will have seen). The architecture was all stunning. It was a really great day. We did some shopping and had dinner with the Auzzie boys in the evening. This marked the end of the golden triangle leg of our tour and it was time to say our goodbyes to our lovely driver Bunty who we had become quite attached to!

After a very hairy night time drive to Delhi airport through some really bad fog we set off for Goa. On arrival we decided to break up our trip down to Palolem and head to a beach called Benjalim, when we got there we couldn't beleive our eyes, the beach was wicked, really peaceful, great setting and the food was fab. We found a great little beach hut to stay in. We did some shopping in the evening (what a hassle that turned out to be!) and then just had a quiet evening to ourselves and watched a beutiful sunset before waiting to hook up with Jo and Mike tonight.

The next morning we got up early and caught the bus which was our first experience of public transport, we think our driver thought he was Michael Schumacker!! In one piece we landed on Palolem beach. This place is more touristy than anywhere we have been so far but will make for a good party vibe for Christmas day. Matt has been attacked by the mozzies and a shell cut right into his wrist within 5 minuites of being in the sea..... I can't take him anywhere without an air ambulance on hand!!!! We are still having problems with the photos but will try and put some more on soon.

Hope you are all well and happy to have finished work for the holidays - enjoy!! Lots of love MAV xxx
