Wow guys this place is amazing, we have been chased around Delhi by some mad Indians wanting our dosh, luckily there was an old geezer (Ashuck) in an auto rick shaw around the corner with which we used as our getaway driver. we had only been Delhi for an hour. (Indians dont take 'no' for an answer very easily!!!)

We have hired a car and driver (Bunty) who is really cool and showing us the ropes and some beautiful places on our way around the golden triangle (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur).

Delhi - Is great. A mad place to get around though, we thought London was hectic we decided not to hang around and headed straight for Agra.

India has a no rule barred approach to driving, it is like the wacky races in real time. two lanes of carriage way with four rows of cars, tractors, camels, cows and donkeys fighting for the road. (They do know how to use their horns though...

Agra - After a very hectic and long journey we found a really nice guest house and ate one of the best curries ever. Vic fell in love with the Dal. In the morning we headed straight to the Taj Mahal (WOW). The Taj is fantastic no picture can do it justice and no words can really explain the beauty. you have just got to see it to believe it.

We would have posted a few piccys but we left the camera lead in the guest house (doh!!) we will upload a few tomorrow some time.

Vic fell in love with an Infant School trip, and started asking them to wave and gave them a few pens. never been mobbed by kids before (I think they thought Vic was famous) it was quite funny though.

Fattipur Sikri - Is a ghost town we stopped at on the way to Jaipur, the residents left this town because there was no water supply to support them.

Jaipur - We have now landed in Jaipur and have found a really nice guest house which is a traditional Indian palace around 300 years old. We have met some fellow first time ozzies to India, so we are going back to have a few drinks with them.

Sorry there are no piccies but we will upload some tomorrow, have fun at work we are both thinking of you (not).

Over and Out xxx (Vic told me to put the kisses) this blog thingy is cool though.

bye
