IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!

A quick blog to say MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all - thanks to everyone who sent us cards!!!

We both finish work on Friday (so back to being unemployed!) and also move house again on the 28th Dec (so back to being homeless!). We're then crashing on a friends floor in Manly for a week before starting our East coast travels on the 4th Jan - maybe this'll be good practice for the 2 months we'll be sleeping in YHA's?? If I'm honest it'll mainly be in twin ensuite rooms because, well, this is me we're talking about, I'm much more your Hilton hotel type of girl!!!...so don't get me started on the 'swag bag' camping under Ayres Rock that Helen has talked me into. It'll be 40 degrees and fly season when we get there in Feb. Oh and the tour guide said 'you don't need to worry about scorpions/spiders/snakes..." to which I thought "oh that's good" until he added "...as long as you sleep close to the fire". Flipping marvelous. Camping at V festival next year will be a doddle….

So anyway after Friday this is just a reminder not to use our work email addresses anymore - we'll still be contactable on our hotmail/yahoo accounts and mobiles though, so please keep in touch!

I've added a few pictures from an twilight outdoor carol concert we went to over the weekend called Carols in the Domain. 100,000 people turned up and it was also televised throughout Australia...made us feel very festive indeedy!

PS We went to Helen's xmas work do last Friday - sadly it was karaoke. Even sadder after an hour Helen and I got asked not to sing anymore. How rude...
