YANGON, Myanmar (CNN) -- The death toll from the Myanmar cyclone is more than 15,000 people, Myanmar's government has said, with at least 10,000 killed in the township of Bogalay alone, according to the Chinese state-run news agency Xinhua.

BBC Report

I haven't seen any television reports but what I'm seeing on the internet looks terrible. Every time I look at any reports the death toll rises another few thousand - with the terrible infrastructure and poverty in the rural areas I'm sure this is just the start. I hope the regime relents and lets the aid agencies help. Reply to this

I hope this doesn't get counted as advertising and get deleted. Since people are discussing the cyclone in Myanmar I thought perhaps it would be worth posting a link here for a reliable place to donate money.
