My friends and I will go to Beijing and Shanghai this September. Can you guys recommend places/tourist spots we can visit, pls. We’ll spend only 2 days each city.
Also, if you can provide list of hotels.

Since you will just stay in each city for two days^^^^I 'll recommend you must-go places here
Beijing:1 Forbidden City. You can also see the Tian'an Men Square by the way since the entrance of the Forbidden City is on the Square.
2 Great Wall. You maybe feel a little tired after you climb the Wall.
So if you still have time and are willing to visit other place after these two I think the Temple of Heaven is a nice place.Then Summer Palace.
Shanghai: Well Shanghai is a big city.It doesn't have many historical sites(Beijing has been a capital city of China for 600 years). I think you can go to Waitan---the Bond on the Yangtz River. Then you can enjoy the whole modern city there.

Reply to this The entrance fee to the Badaling Great Wall (In Yanqing district of Beijing,the most popular Great Wall ,I recommand you this one) is 45 yuan(about 6.5 dollar) now. while to the Mutianyu Great Wall(In Huairou district of beijing) is 40 yuan now. The entrance fee to the Forbidden City is 60 yuan now.
The hotels^^^^that depends on what kind of hotels ^^^^ As far as I know,the three-star hotels in Beijing is about 350-500 yuan one day (en-suite double room).
