They do extensive volunteer programs with the local villages in and around Quito, and actually all over the country. Their headquarters is in Quito. You'd be surprised what you'll find if you're constantly looking. While in Sorata (Bolivia), my girlfriend and I walked into a school and asked if we could help out. They ve got a full list of Volunteer Opportunities with feedback from previous volunteer. I warned on other forum about the Foundation statue in Ecuador. Setting a Foundation in Ecuador is quite common for Money Laundry, tax relief, government grant (national or international)...so sometimes Foundation are not really doing much for the community but more for the "Founder".
