I live in Cluj-Napoca , in the middle of Transilvania. My parents come from a small village , 70 Km away from Cluj. Another place you must see is Sighisoara town:

I was in Sighisoara last time I was in Romania. Yes, I can certainly recommend it.
It is also easy to get there by train for those who have no car.
You can visit the house where Dracula was born there. It is a good place to hang out because it it so old and beautiful and has a bar and restaurant in it. I was there in Winter when it was nice and quiet there. I dont know what it would be like at other times of the year. Too many tourists would likely spoil the atmosphere.

It depends.....I was last year in Neptun, at 2 stars hotel, was cheap, clean , i felt very good. The room was aprox 20 Euro per night (no meal). Mamaia is much much more expensive, but you have more entertainment posibilities. Depends on what kind of holiday do you want. Reply to this

I have a romanian elder couple friends of my friends...that lives in ancient part in the forest areas of Moldavia...plan to visit them also !!!!!!!!!!

If you google hostels, buca then most/all of the hostels that are there will come up. You can also probably book them on the internet.
