I know its chance whether we see anything or not, but all I have seen advertised has been whale watching or dolphin watching. We'd like to try and see both if possible. Any recommendations for companys to go with too would be appreciated. | Mell Mell Post Count: 14961 Msg: #2 94 weeks ago, March 4th 2008 | Hello Twotravelbugs :) | I moved this to the Oceania forum because this is where those who have information about NZ will likely be looking. I haven't used them myself, but it's probably worth an enquiry at least. twotravelbugs Karen and Colin Post Count: 101 Msg: #4 94 weeks ago, March 5th 2008 | Oops, I was sure I put it in the Oceania forum. Where did I put it? Thanks for moving it anyway. | Mell Mell Post Count: 14961 Msg: #5 94 weeks ago, March 5th 2008 | U put it in the General Forum. :) | Mel travelaz Arthur Zoot Post Count: 6 Msg: #6 94 weeks ago, March 7th 2008 | Sorry not exactly answering your question - though I'll put in a recommendation for Whale Watch Kaikora | Very good time! kiwi_jillaroo vikki wyse Post Count: 1 Msg: #7 90 weeks ago, April 4th 2008 | hi, the whale watching tour in kaikoura commonly also seems dusky dolphins as you leave or enter the bay - they are attracted to the boat and often jump and swim alongside. its not guaranteed you will see any though. if you spot no or only 1 whale they often then go in search for the dolphins anyway, hope that helps! if you have to chose i would swim with the dolphins, unless you are going to christchurch, in which case swim wtih the dolphins at akaroa | Number of Users: 5 | Number of Posts: 7 | |||||||||||||||
