Visa's for Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos

Hi everyone!
Please help me with my visa questions!
I know I need my Vietnam visa in advance but not necessarily the others, is this correct?
What are other people's experiences?
I read in LP Thailand does not require a visa unless it is for over 30 days. I am staying first 10 days of trip in Thailand and only coming back for a connecting flight 5 weeks later. Is that still okay?
Where do people suggest I get each visa? I am in Laos for 4 days crossing from Chiang Mai.
I leave on the 13th of January..how long will it take to organise any advanced visas? Have i left it too late?

Hey Katcha your Thai visa should be fine and the other three visas can be arranged quite cheaply at one of the many travel agency's in Bangkok.
