Thx Mike:) LeGrandBleu Ana Carol Post Count: 53 Msg: #3 729 days ago, December 10th 2007 | Hi there, | Yep, the websites are in Portuguese :) I guess the best thing to do is ask for information when you arrive at the hostel. They sure know where you can buy the tickets and stuff. Don't worry so much in booking it in advance. There are about 4 bus companies doing RJ-SP, and the buses leave every 30/40 min. Except for New Year's Eve and Carnival, when it's busier - then you may have to wait a few days. But they also provide more buses. The ticket costs around BRL 60/90 (USD 35/50), depending on the type of bus. The journey takes about 5/6 hours. Hope this helps! I'm there for carnival time so was wondering it may get really busy so wasn't sure whether to book in advance? I went to a few websites but either there's been a techincal fault or I don't have a CPF number? I suppose I'll just book on the day I arrive into RJ. Thanks once again!
