I subscribed to it last week and now receive free updates in my email of the world news from the UN.
Does anybody else subscribe to this?
I tend to think it is a very good idea of the UN. If the UN approves of the reports before they send them, then it has to be an accurate account of the work the UN is doing in various countries.

I googled world news and it was on the list.
Maybe there is also a link on the UN website where a person can subscribe.

I don't know if its such a good idea to get your news from the UN. They have to be so darn politically correct all the time, I wonder if they might water the news down to keep the Iranians/Russians/Venezuelans etc happy. I think that the BBC or CNN would be a better choice.

Judging from the news blogs I read from them they dont water it down to keep people happy.
The news is very realistic and unbaised in my opinion.
Some of the blogs the UN send come from the BBC or CNN. It is just approved by the UN if they include it in their email to the subscribers. ie it gives an accurate account of the UNs take on situations and gives accurate information about what action the UN are taking.
