How do I get best from South America to New Zealand or Indonesia

I am starting my travels in South America and want to go to Indonesia maybe via New Zealand. Now, I have seen flights, but they are all very expensive. Does anyone have a tip on a more or less reasonably priced route to get from Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, or Peru eastwards? Many thanks. Reply to this
