Hi Mell,
I was there 9 months ago with a Land Rover. The main road to the capital is not bad. All other roads are very bad to atrocious. 150 km in 2,5 days, along the border with Turkey. Don't know anything about public transport. People are generally friendly but reserved. Country out of communist system and not everybody is happy with that. I don't know what you are looking for. but Turkey is a lot nicer. Look it up at www.vrolijksontrek.com, Georgia.

I am not looking for anything in particular in Georgia. Just want to see what it is like. So long as it is safe that is.
