Hi Shishman

A family group of 6 plus a 2 year old are coming to Turkey on about the 18th May. We plan to travel from Istanbul to Kusadasi and stay there for a few days and explore Ephesus and surrounding area. From here we would like to go to Cappedocia, maybe staying in Keyrasi (sp!) and then back to Istanbul for a couple of days. We might hire a car or Combi type vehicle or travel by bus. What would you advise and how could you help us.

Looking forward to hearing from you

Barry

Hi Frank

we got no response from shishman - he has probably moved on.

we stayed in a hotel in istanbul - not too expensive and right in the centre of the main attractions.
are you only going to stay in istanbul and how long will you be there? how many people in the group.

if you are interested i will get the name of the hotel and you can deal with them directly. we had a pleasant stay with them and a typical turkish breakwas was included.

regards

Hi

Sorry about the delay

The hotel we stayed in was called Best Nobel Hotel

We found it quite adequate, breakfasts were included. Rooms were fine. Showers only - no bath.

We had three rooms and were happy with the size and cleanliness, it is not 5 star but for the price I was happy. There are some not so good reviews on the web. Maybe you could book in for a day or two and extend your stay if you are happy with the room. To us the big advantage is that the holtel was so central.

Enjoy your stay

Hi Barisselen,

Thanks for your help.

We are trying to find out the best option on a bufget to get from IST to Pamukkale, on to Goreme, and from Goreme to Aleppo. If you have any websites for bus companies or where in Istanbul we can fix all that, we wopuld be grateful. Reply to this
