Ok....so here is the situation, I am going to be in Czech Republic from the late on the 26th until late on the 30th, and in that time I wanted to travel into Germany to attend Oktoberfest for at least one day! So what is the easiest and cheapest way to get to Munich with short notice?

Cheapest way would be a coach (bus)...much cheaper than a train although it takes longer. however, if you are pressed for time and have the $$$ then I would suggest a train...I'll be flying into Munich 4oct for a couple days as well.....was there last year and had a great time and couldn't wait until I got back to Oktoberfest!!!! wish you the best of luck and good times!!! hi, there are direct trains from prague to munich - very nice trip. it takes a half day - check it on www.idos.cz Reply to this
