manwaring Jason Burton Post Count: 1 Msg: #1 800 days ago, September 15th 2007 | I just got back from volunteering in Ethiopia for 6 months and am planning on going back in March, 08. | I have a few friends that used to live in a refugee camp in Gambella and I would really likie to travel there. Have any of you been there? What was the security situation like when you visited? Does the Ethiopian government allow free travel to/around the area? I've noticed that their is much conflicting and confusing information about Gambella. What were your feelings about the situation there? How do you feel the people's standard of living (water availability, security, education, etc.)compares to other parts of Ethiopia such as towns in North Wollo? Thanks for any advice!
