Hi,
My wife and I are booked to do an express 3 day Gorilla Trek in Uganda - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - departing Kampala in December and I'm wondering if anyone has done this recently since the incident in early September where rebels crossed the border from DRC into one of the other parks and killed some of the gorillas and chased off the park wardens.
Would be great to hear about any "protective measures" that the guides etc put in place to discourage any aggressive action.
Thanks,
WW Wanderers
